Although officially we are now in autumn the weather is still sunny and warm with the temperature reaching 30c and the fair weather set to continue.
Throughout the summer nearly every day we have gone to our village beach at Las Negras to swim and relax for a few hours but today we ventured to El Playazo de Rodalquilar ten minutes drive down the coast.
A light Levante breeze was blowing which tempted this kite surfer on to the water.
Even though it is Sunday the beach was not crowded.
Not only humans enjoy the beach. This little dog spent all his time in this rock pool fascinated by the marine life in it.
The light and colours of the sea were beautiful so we hope you like the photos.
