Last night there was a heavy storm so at last we have had some rain. This morning, driving past San Miguel de Cabo de Gata on the way back from Almeria, I decided to pull in and look at the boats. I was certain there would be many colourful boats pulled up on the beach as the fishermen would not have gone out in the storm and the Levante wind was still blowing.
Sure enough there were many boats and a few sunbathers were coming down to the beach too now that the sun had returned as usual.
The rickety fishermemn’s sheds and all their paraphanalia behind the beach always fascinate me and make good photographic subjects so I spent 10 minutes wandering around.
I have posted some more photos on http://coloursofspain.wordpress.com
