Today we headed east for a change to Playa de los Muertos between Agua Amarga and Carboneras.
This long wide beach comprises tiny pebbles unlike the fine sand of our other beaches. The girls though found these fascinating and enjoyed collecting the prettier ones.
The rock pools at the end of the beach were another attraction.
The light and colours are beautiful here, the sea transparent and turning into veridian green near the rocks.
We also enjoyed watching the cargo ships going in and out of the port at Carboneras although this was of little interest to Izzie and Ellie as they live in Bristol, a port city.
