This morning I visited San Jose. The skies are clear again and the light sharp but we still have a fresh breeze. After the bustle of Easter the town was quiet again.
I called in at the offices of HMS, a property management and letting company – www.hms-spain.com and while waiting for John Thorpe, the owner, I walked down the steps in front to the little beach opposite the marina where a few souls were enjoying the sunshine and peaceful atmosphere.
It reminded me of when I first visited San Jose in 1985 when there was no marina or mains water, just one small hotel and very few tourists.
