Sometimes a resort out of season can be a depressing place. Indeed, San José mid-week on a November morning looked abandoned and neglected.
So much tourist accommodation has been built here over the last fifteen years that demand only fills supply during the peak summer months.
We encountered very few people when we visited the town this morning and the beaches were deserted.
This, together with the fine weather and dramatic skies, provided plenty of interesting photo opportunities.
We enjoyed our visit. It is a pity there were not more people here to do the same.
