Later this morning we visited the market in Campohermoso. It was the usual colourful scene with clothing and fruit and veg stalls and the pleasant aromas of sun-warmed olives and exotic spices.
At our last market in Huetor Tajar we were used to seeing Bolivian indians, who had come to Spain to work in the asparagus fields, mixed with the locals. Here, because we are close to Africa, there are many Morrocans and sub Saharan Africans who no doubt work in the greenhouses that surround the town of Campohermoso.
