These photos are of the deserted and abandoned railway station of Huétor Tájar on the Granada – La Bobadilla railway line. Trains are not a popular form of public transport in Granada Province. People travel by buses which link all the little towns and villages with the major hubs. Trains do not stop at Huétor Tájar any more but they stop at Loja. This station is unmanned so you have to buy your tickets on the train. Fare Loja – Granada is about 4.50 euros one way.
