The dry, sunny weather in Almeria continues and the landscape is looking arid for the time of year.
Where there is water, though, you will always find greenery and an abundance of colourful wild flowers.
Along the Rambla de los Agüillas in Las Negras a trickle of water flows from a spring. By the water’s edge poppies, wild mustard and asphodels flourish.
We took these photos this morning during a more gentle walk than usual. Margaret fractured her arm when she fell while walking in the countryside on Friday. The ground is rock hard after the drought.
